Sony CCD-TR385E Video Camera

We have a Sony CCD-TR385E video camera, about 1995 vintage. It uses 8mm tapes and 48x digital zoom. It has done a great job, but will probably be replaced with a new camera, again, with one that uses tapes. I like the flexibility of tapes when travelling, along with the long play times. I also prefer a camera with a viewfinder, rather than just an LCD display. I recently purchased a Canopus ADVC-55 video convertor to download the analogue tapes to the iMac for editing.
