Blue Mountains

Therese and Greg spent a weekend in the Blue Mountains, just to get away and relax. We stayed at Hurlestone (east wing)in Leura, self contained accommodation. It basically consisted of a bedroom and bathroom, with tea and coffee facilities. Very nice, and quite OK for what we wanted.

We headed up on Friday night in light drizzle. Diner was at the local Thai Restaurant.

Saturday cleared up and the sun came out for a while. We had breakfast in Katoomba, then had a day of bushwalking and visiting lookouts. Dinner was at Pins on Megalong in Leura, Excellent food!

We woke up on Sunday to rain and mist. Breakfast in Leura, then off the the local markets before heading home.

A very enjoyable weekend away without the children.
