Emerald Beach, NSW

In January 2005, we headed up to Emerald beach near Coffs Harbour on the NSW coast between Sydney and Brisbane. It was a very wet (extremely wet) 4 days, but we managed to stay dry and have fun regardless. We visited the Big Banana, doing the plantation train ride, learning lot's about bananas. On the way home, we travelled Tourist Route 18 which followed the coast and brought us back on to the Pacific Highway south of Coffs Harbour. Another detour was taken via Tourist Route 12 to South West Rocks and Crescent Heads, before heading home.
