A week travelling Victoria and the Great Ocean Road. We travelled down the Hume Highway via Yass, Gundagai, Albury and spent the first night at the Rutherglen Caravan Park. From Rutherglen, we headed via Corowa, Lake Mulwala, Cobram, Shepparton, and stayed at the Gold Nugget Caravan Park at Bendigo. We visited Bendigo Pottery, and the Central Deborah Gold Mine, where we descended to Level 2 @ 61m. We then travelled via Castlemaine, Ballarat, and then to Ararat where we stayed at the Acacia Caravan Park.
From Ararat we headed for Halls Gap in the Grampians, stopping at Boroka Lookout and McKenzie Falls. Dunkeld, then Portland, Warrnambool and along the Great Ocean Road to Peterborough where we stayed the night. We continued along the GOR, stopping at all the sights, Cape Otway, Apollo Bay and Anglesea for the night (Anglesea Family Holiday Park).
From Anglesea, we travelled to Melbourne and up the Hume, then Bright, and stayed the night in a Yurt in Mt Beauty. Visited Falls Creek, then Tallangatta, the Alpine Way to Thredbo, Jindabyne, and overnighted in Cooma. Kiandra was our next stop, followed by Mt Selwyn, Cabramurra (highest town in Australia 1488m), Tumut 2 power station. Back to the Hume highway at South Gundagai, and home again. Diesel was 78.9 c/l.
