Our Home Page

Hi, this is our website to display some of the travel we have done, both in Australia, and to other countries. Under equipment are details of our vehicles and campertrailers, and interests include flying, diving and amateur radio.
We live on the Central Coast, just north of Sydney Australia.
This webste is a work in progress, and is continually being updated, so please come back and visit again.

Balikpapan, Indonesia

Greg recently visited Balikpapan for work, adding another country to his list.

The End of an Era

Well our trusty Pajero has finally died after 16years of excellent trouble free service. The Pajero has taken us on many adventures, and has taken us to many destinations, both on and off road.

On the way back from Lake Keepit, heading up the last hill into Murrurundi, she died.  The engine cooked, well done.

Unfortunately the cost to repair the engine exceeds the value of the car, so it will be scrapped and a replacement vehicle will be on the shopping list. We were due to replace it soon, but were hoping it would last a little longer.

We are looking at a dual cab, which will give us a better payload and more space in the back for gear.

Stay tuned.

Lake Keepit

We recently stayed at Lake Keepit State Recreation Area (Keepit Dam) for 5 nights with our daughter and Shih Tzu. Some photos can be seen at Lake Keepit page.

Lake Keepit is located on the Oxley Highway between Tamworth and Gunnedah in NSW (closer to Gunnedah).

Popular activities in the park include fishing, water skiing and soaring.

Macquarie Woods

We finally had a weekend away in the camper trailer after 2 1/2 years. We stayed at Macquarie Woods between Bathurst and Orange with other members of the Australian Campertrailer Group. A great weekend was had by all.

Travel Again

Well, the business is gone and I now have my weekends back. Time to think about travelling this great country of ours again. I have certainly missed it.
Stay tuned…….

Travel 2011

Well, as you can guess from the lack of posts, we didn’t do much travel in 2010 due to starting a new business. 2011 will not be much better, although we do have a couple of tentative trips planned later in the year.
